As a dedicated specialist, MFG offers the industry an unmatched depth of capability in molded fiber glass design and manufacturing. Our strength in molding, assembly, and painting is supported by extensive computer-aided design (CAD), process engineering, and research activity. Our multiple material processes allow us to assist customers in the early design stages of a project by offering them material recommendations that will provide the greatest value and best performance. These processes include sheet molding compound (SMC) and liquid composite molding (LCM), including structural reaction injection molding (SRIM).

With substantive manufacturing facilities located around North America and Mexico, we are uniquely able to address transportation and collaboration issues.

  • MFG de Mexico
    Near Monterrey, MFG Mexico occupies a new 60,000sf. manufacturing facility equipped with compression molding presses, secondary assembly equipment and a modern paint booth capable of finishing large fiber glass parts.

  • MFG North Carolina
    Acquired by MFG in 1994, the MFG NC campus now includes a 115,0000sf manufacturing plant on 21 acres. MFG NC has the process versatility to provide cost-effective solutions ideally matched to the customer's volume requirements. MFG NC manufactures structural or "appearance grade" products, often combined into large complex assemblies. A leader in automated precision performs, MFG NC offers the ability to have precise placement of the reinforcements in close molded composites, via compression molding or RTM. MFG NC is also a leading SMC molder, providing versatility in design and processes.

  • MFG Premier Molding
    MFG Premier Molding Company's facility represents the foundation of the composite industry in North America. Several composite products were pioneered here, including body panels for the first Corvette, truck and automotive components, marine and agricultural products, and fiber glass boats. Today the manufacturing facility consists of 160,000sf on six acres.

    Acquired by MFG in 1955, the MFG Union City originally produced the first commercial line of fiberglass pleasure boats. Today MFG Union City concentrates on molding products and providing services for the OEM, construction, transportation and agriculture markets. MFG Union City has more than 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space and the resources to produce, assemble and paint extremely large and complicated FRP structures.
